The only think about these Mini bikes for the most part the company never produced their own motor . A true motorcycle motor with oil pump and a 3 speed gear box wet or dry clutch . They was always on the cheap side like the wheel bearing or the neck bearings . The jap minis was much better and safer mini bikes .

He calls you a smartass! Whata great game. Even though it uses real invention to make it happen, it oddly seems more 70s than 1983. Beautiful creativity by the makers. Quite intimidating!

I bought a Rupp Roadster in 1973 with the money I made working for my dad over the summer. I loved it! Rode it all over the rural subdivision we lived in at the time. I had it for almost 20 years until it was stolen out of my shed in 1992. I'm still riding a KLR 650 51 years later.

The 80s soundtrack was a place holder that Dick used while developing the code. We both agreed that it wasn’t the right music for the game; I created a playlist of alternate music that felt more appropriate - all instrumental electronica. It’s in the code, if anybody actually bothered to look into it and find it there.

Agreed, I just finished a Galaxy restore and hesitate to buy his new sounds/ruleset because of his music choices. Was it easy to substitute your music?

I hunted down over 160 pinball machines during my 35+ years of collecting and came across many games without backdoors. The metal back door is such an important part of the machine and is a must to have, so thank you so much for this video it helps a great deal. Keep up the great work!

I just recently had a chance to play a Bally Skill Roll and liked the game, but don't think i would want to add one to my collection of 43 machines. After a while of not having any control of the outcome for payout it might become repetitious and i could loose focus on playing the game. For sure it is a neat novelty game with plenty of attraction to the coin op interested new comer. Thanks for the video.

I've seen these "Flasher" machines during my 35+ years of collecting and had a chance at buying a few that I came across during my travels of hunting down pinball machines, but didn't since I rather have a Bally Bingo Pinball machine to gamble on in stead. I do appreciate though your video of a "Flasher" up and running and giving me a idea what i would have been missing since i never bought one. I actually like their look and design cabinets. If you ever travel to the SW through southern NM, (Alamogordo), let me know and you can stop by and repair my 1976 Gottlieb "Target Alpha". When I lived in Flint, you came up and fixed it a couple times along with my "Ten Strike". I didn't have any place for it in the house when I moved here in 2008, so it went in the pole barn, and that was the worst place for it with the extreme temperature swings. Now some contacts have gotten out of adjustment, again. Love that pin and I miss playing it.

our dad bought us4 bros. & 1 sister, two rupp roadsters back in 1971 an we litteraly wore a track in tha yard around our house that is still there to this day allthough tha grass has grown over it now but only god knows how many miles we rode those two rupps, around & around our house , i remember one time me an a brother of mine out ran two honda sl 70s in tha subdivision where we grew up , lol u cud put your left foot on tha torque converter cover an press in on tha governer with your heel an those ole 5hp motors would wind up tite an what a ride it was. now its 2024 an those two rupps are still togather , not bad for a mini bike 😎

We had an original of this in the late1950's! My dad brought it from the basement to outside for my 16th birthday party in 1966! But it was never transported back to the basement. He covered it with a tarp, but in time the elements destroyed it. Boy, how I wish I had that jewel today!
